I've been exploring the world of ones and zeros for more than 30 years. Born and raised in the Montreal area, I speak French and English on a daily basis. Over the years, I had the chance to work with really smart people that shared their passions for computers. Now I try to give back and share my experiences with others. I love exchanging with tech geeks, and I am addicted to learning. I try to challenge myself as much as possible with various tech projects out of my comfort zone. I can be setting up raspberry pis (as web servers/nas/vpn/monitoring devices/eCommerce platforms;OScommerce, Magento, shopify) to creating Android VR app using the Unreal Engine. When the R-Pis are not enough, I use one of the major cloud provider (MS Azure, Amazon AWS or Google cloud platform) to do the job. As a part time web developer, I try keep up with the different technology and I try to play with different technology and stacks; (Angular/React,LAMP/LEMP, MEAN/MERN, Meteor coming soon !) I have been around computers for a while, and I saw computers without hard drives, 2400 bps modems, EMM386, GORRILA.BAS, VAX VMS and Novell Netware. I saw the things that shaped today's computers. Proud father of two boys, I spend a lot of time teaching them about life and computers (GCompris, a great educational software for 2 to 10 years old, check it out!). Like me, my boys are very curious, and like to know how everything works. Today, I use my experience to improve processes between systems, companies and people. I develop feature-rich applications and functionalities than can be reused by others. My great analytical skills, technical knowledges and innovative ideas are a key factor in the successful projects I accomplished over the years.
